These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Alterra Living website and your purchase of products from Alterra Living ("Alterra Living," "we," "us," or "our").
By accessing our website, placing an order, or purchasing products from Alterra Living, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or purchase our products.

Alterra Living offers outdoor decor and related products, which may include planters, pots, statuary, fountains, water features, fire bowls, decorative accessories, and other home and outdoor furnishings.
We make reasonable efforts to accurately display and describe our products, including their dimensions, colors, materials, finishes, features, and appearance. However, photographs, screen displays, lighting conditions, and individual device settings may affect how colors and finishes appear.
Dimensions and weights provided on our website are approximate unless specifically stated otherwise.
We reserve the right to modify product descriptions, specifications, availability, and pricing at any time.
3. Handcrafted and Natural Product Variations
Many Alterra Living products are handcrafted or made using natural materials and artisan production methods.
Variations in color, texture, finish, surface characteristics, markings, dimensions, shape, distressing, and other details may naturally occur. These variations are part of the character of handcrafted and natural products and do not necessarily constitute defects.
No two handcrafted or natural-material products should be expected to be completely identical.
Product photographs are intended to provide a reasonable representation of the product you will receive but may not depict every natural or handcrafted variation.
4. Outdoor Products and Natural Weathering
Products intended for outdoor use are exposed to environmental conditions that may naturally affect their appearance over time.
Exposure to sunlight, rain, moisture, freezing temperatures, heat, humidity, salt, minerals, vegetation, and other environmental conditions may cause fading, discoloration, patina, staining, surface changes, weathering, expansion, contraction, or other changes.
Normal weathering and changes resulting from ordinary outdoor exposure, environmental conditions, improper maintenance, or improper storage are not necessarily manufacturing defects.
Customers are responsible for following any product-specific care, maintenance, winterization, drainage, storage, or installation instructions provided with a product or on our website.
5. Product Placement and Safety
Certain Alterra Living products may be large, heavy, fragile, or difficult to move.
Customers are responsible for determining whether a product is appropriate for its intended location and ensuring that it is placed on a stable and suitable surface.
Customers are also responsible for appropriate installation, anchoring, drainage, electrical connections, plumbing connections, fuel connections, or other site-specific requirements when applicable.
Professional installation may be appropriate for certain products.
Alterra Living is not responsible for damage caused by improper installation, placement, handling, modification, maintenance, storage, or use of a product.
6. Pricing and Payment
All prices displayed on our website are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
Prices may change without notice. The price applicable to an order will generally be the price displayed at the time the order is submitted, subject to correction of obvious errors.
Applicable taxes, shipping charges, delivery charges, and other fees will be displayed during checkout when applicable.
Payment must be authorized before an order is processed.
We reserve the right to correct pricing, product information, or other errors and to cancel or modify an affected order. If payment has already been collected for an order that we cancel, the applicable amount will be refunded.

Certain products may require freight, oversized, curbside, threshold, residential, or other specialized delivery services.
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information and ensuring reasonable access to the delivery location.
Additional charges resulting from inaccurate addresses, inaccessible delivery locations, refused deliveries, missed delivery appointments, re-delivery, storage, or other circumstances attributable to the customer may be the customer's responsibility to the extent permitted by law.

9. Inspection and Damaged Products
Customers should inspect merchandise promptly after delivery.
If an item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or incomplete, please contact Alterra Living promptly at customerservice@alterra-living.com and provide your order information and photographs of the product and packaging when reasonably requested.
Damage claims may be subject to deadlines imposed by shipping or freight carriers. Customers should retain the product and original packaging while a damage claim is being reviewed.
We will handle eligible damaged or defective merchandise in accordance with our applicable policies and applicable law.
10. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
Returns, refunds, cancellations, and exchanges are governed by Alterra Living's Return and Refund Policy in effect at the time of purchase.
